Toybox Command: Free Online Tower Defense Game

Toybox Command is a free online tower defense game set on a tabletop diorama. Enemy toy soldiers, tanks, planes and zeppelins advance toward your base. Place the right mix of nine tower types beside the road, upgrade them, and stop each wave before your lives run out. Every level generates a new map.

Everything works with mouse or touch:

• Place a tower: Drag a card from the bottom bar onto an empty slot.
• Tower menu: Click a placed tower to upgrade (⬆), promote (🎖️) or sell (💰) it.
• Abilities: Use airstrike, freeze and bonus gold from the right side of the bar (they have cooldowns).
• Waves: Waves start automatically, or start them early for a gold bonus.

• Mix your towers: Riflemen for cheap coverage, mortars for groups, anti-air for planes — no single tower stops everything.
• Protect veterans: Towers rank up with their own kills and gain critical hits. Place them where they can keep scoring.
• Spend stars wisely: Medals earn stars for the Skill Tree — permanent upgrades that carry over to every new level.
• Watch the wave preview: It shows what is coming next, so you can prepare the right defenses.

• Promotions beat raw upgrades on towers that already get many kills — 'the level grows the weapon, the promotion masters the soldier'.

Upgrading costs gold and raises raw power. Promotion is earned by the tower's own kills and grants ranks with critical hit chance and, at the top rank, a chance for double shots.

Yes. Your highest reached level, difficulty, stars, medals and skill tree upgrades are stored on your device. You can restart from the beginning of that level; a wave in progress is not saved.

Yes. On phones and tablets simply drag tower cards from the bottom bar onto the battlefield and tap towers to open their menu.
